After 3 months of range time I have officially changed EDC from my Jericho 941 in .40 S&W, to Ruger SR9C. 400+ rounds of various manufacturers and my own reloads resulting in 0 failures. It is light enough to be comfortably carried all day every day. Feels great in my hand, points naturally, and looks good too. I still have the Jericho and will carry it at times in winter but the SR9C is now my favorite carry gun.

Just found this on another site and it made me chuckle and cringe at the same time...the more I realized it is completely true, the more upsetting it became.
IN PRISON...you spend the majority of your time in an 8X10 cell.
AT WORK....you spend most of your time in a 6X8 cubicle.

IN PRISON...you get three meals a day (free).

In the next few weeks I will be adding some video blogs on a concept/topic I feel is grossly miss-understood and widely overlooked. Each week/video will cover one or a few items that can be obtained easily and fairly cheap. Some of these items you can buy and some you can find laying around. Even though I wish these items to be universal to not only "B.O.Bs"(bugoutbags) but also "D.I.Bs"(diginbags) some items may not comply to both concepts. I am a firm believer in the $20 rule, the $20 rule…

This picture is from a small English post. It reminds me of a time when I was a kid and ended up eating squirrel for the first time. My uncle had various nut bearing trees on his property and all the squirrels from the surrounding area would migrate to his land during season. Our job as kids with pellet guns and slingshots was to thin out the herd. On my first hunting season I bagged half… Continue

For some reason Springfield Armory feels the need to compare two very rad guns from two very different handgun segments in a voting contest on the interwebs. It's a show down between the XDm Compact and the Range Officer 1911 and currently the votes are leaning toward the 1911. Of course this is a marketing ploy, but it is the best kind of marketing ploy, the kind that puts free stuff in the hands of lucky contestants.
The grand…

I needed a constructive way to focus my firearms obsession, there are a lot of guns out there that I would eventually like to own, but I had no idea what I really wanted to get. I'm sure I am not off base in assuming that even if you had the entire contents of your favorite gun store in your basement, there would still be something out there that you want to add to that collection. Well, since I don't have enough guns to fill even one display case, I've got a long way to…
